Submitting a Letter of Inquiry

Online Application

The online application for the June 6, 2013 deadline is closed. The link to the application will reopen in November for the January 9, 2014 deadline.

The Meyer Foundation uses a Letter of Inquiry process. Eligible organizations, including current grantees requesting another grant, begin the application process by submitting a letter of inquiry (LOI) describing their organization and the program or activities for which funding is being requested. We accept letters of inquiry twice each year—in January for consideration by our board in late April, and in June for consideration in October.

After Submitting the LOI

Applicants whose LOI is not selected to advance to the next step of the process will receive written notification within two months of the submission deadline.

If your LOI is selected for further consideration, a program officer will schedule a meeting to discuss the request. At that time, the Foundation may request a full proposal. An invitation to submit a full proposal does not guarantee that the request will be funded.
