Antoinette (Toni) Cook Bush is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, in charge of Skadden's Communications Group. She represents companies in administrative, legislative, and transactional matters involving communications issues. Her clients include Viacom, News Corp., Inner City Broadcasting, Motion Picture Association of America, and Virgin Mobile.
Prior to joining Skadden, Arps in 1993, Ms. Bush served as senior counsel to the Communications Subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, where she worked on numerous bills including the Cable Act of 1992, the Children's Television Act of 1990, and authorizing legislation for the FCC, NTIA, and Public Broadcasting.
She is a graduate of Wellesley College, Northwestern University Law School and serves as Chair of the Telecom and Broadband Subcommittee of the FCC's Advisory Committee for Diversity in the Digital Age. She is chair of The HistoryMakers board and is a member of the board of Advocates for Justice and Education.
